Every coin is paired with someone or something. The pair decides who receives the paired share of the fees, how they collect it, and, for token pairs, what the coin trades against. You pick the pair on the Launch page and it can never be changed.
All pair types#
| Pair type | What you enter | Where the paired share goes | How it is collected |
|---|---|---|---|
| X (Twitter) | @handle or x.com link | Escrow wallet for that handle | Owner signs in with X on Rewards |
| YouTube | @handle, channel link or channel id | Escrow wallet for that channel | Owner signs in with the Google account that owns the channel |
| Twitch | twitch.tv/username | Escrow wallet for that user | Owner signs in with Twitch |
| Facebook Page | facebook.com/pagename | Escrow wallet for that Page | A Page admin signs in with Facebook |
| Company | Domain, e.g. acme.com | Escrow wallet for that domain | Owner adds a DNS TXT record |
| GitHub | @username or github.com link | Pump.fun’s GitHub fee account for that user | Claimed through Pump.fun’s own GitHub claim |
| Solana wallet | A wallet address | That wallet, directly | Nothing to do: paid automatically |
| AI model | A model id from the AI provider’s catalog | The coin’s AI vault | Nothing to claim: it pays for the coin’s AI |
| Token | Pick a token from the list | No paired account | The coin trades against this token |
| Stock | Pick a tokenized stock | No paired account | The coin trades against this stock |
Social accounts and companies#
Coins paired with an X, YouTube, Twitch or Facebook Page account, or with a company domain, pay the paired share into an escrow wallet made for that account. One escrow serves every coin paired with the same account. The owner proves ownership once on Rewards, chooses a payout wallet and receives everything waiting. Coins launched after that pay the owner’s wallet directly.
- X, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook: proof is an OAuth sign-in with that account. Typing a name is never enough.
- Company: proof is a DNS TXT record on the domain:
pairpad-verify=<your wallet>.
Important
GitHub#
GitHub coins use Pump.fun’s built-in social fee sharing. The paired share goes to a fee account that Pump.fun derives from the developer’s permanent numeric GitHub user id, and the developer claims it through Pump.fun. It is not an escrow held by this site, so the 30-day escrow rule does not apply. Only individual GitHub users can be paired, not organizations.
Solana wallet#
The paired share is paid straight to the wallet you enter, on-chain, every time fees are distributed. The paired wallet cannot be your own creator wallet.
AI model#
Pairing with an AI model makes an AI coin. The model becomes the coin’s AI, and the split is fixed: 50% creator, 30% for the AI and 20% platform. By default the whole 30% goes to the coin’s AI vault, a wallet held by the platform that only pays for this coin’s AI, per request in USDC. Nothing overflows to buybacks or burns. The model must support tools and cost under $0.05 per thought.
Token and stock pairs#
A token or stock pair changes what the coin trades against: instead of COIN/SOL it becomes, for example, COIN/BONK. There is no paired account, so the paired share is 0% and the creator divides the rest between themselves, holders and buyback & burn. Buyers still pay with SOL: it is swapped to the pair token automatically through Jupiter.
Which venue is used
| Pair token | Venue | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Approved by Pump.fun as a quote token (read live from Pump.fun) | Pump.fun | Same locked fee-sharing split as a SOL coin. Fees are paid in the pair token. |
| Any other eligible token | Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve | The coin gets its own unchangeable Meteora config. Your own share must be a whole percent. |
A token that Pump.fun has not approved can be a pair only if it passes these checks:
- it is verified on Jupiter and has at least $50,000 of liquidity (the platform can change this minimum);
- its issuer can no longer freeze it or mint more of it (well-known stablecoins such as USDC and USDT are allowed);
- it has no Token-2022 transfer fee, transfer hook or non-transferable setting;
- it has a live market price, so the curve can be sized.
