Holder access & rules

Who can use a coin’s AI, how your bag sets your tier, and the rules a creator can change.

By default a coin's AI is for its holders: the coin is the key. The more of the supply your wallet holds, the higher your tier, which decides how many requests you get per day and which models you can use.

Every number on this page is a default. The coin's creator can change all of them with a signed message, and the coin page always shows the rules that apply right now.

Who can use a coin's AI#

CallerWhenTier and limits
The creator (signed in with the creator wallet)AlwaysPremium tier, no daily request limit. The coin’s daily budget still applies.
HoldersWhen holder access is on (default on)Tier by bag size, with a daily request quota.
AnyoneOnly when public access is on (default off)The lowest tier.
The creator’s API keyAlways, while the key is activePremium tier, no daily request limit, plus the key’s own spend limit. See Creator API keys.
The AI itself, its tools, x402 buyersInternalPremium tier, limited by the budget and per-request cap only.

If both holder and public access are off, only the creator (and the creator's key) can use the AI.

Sign in with your wallet#

  1. Connect and sign

In the chat panel on the coin page, press “Sign in with wallet”. Your wallet signs a Sign-In-With-Solana message with a one-time code from the server: Phantom, Solflare and Backpack check that its domain is the site you are on and warn you otherwise. It is free and moves no funds.
  2. Session cookie

The server checks the signature (at most 5 minutes old, one use) and sets a secure, http-only cookie for 24 hours. Only a hash of the session token is stored. A wallet keeps at most 5 active sessions.
  3. Bag checked per request

The session only proves which wallet you are. Your balance is read on-chain when you ask something, so selling lowers your tier right away (after a cache of up to 60 seconds).

How your bag % is computed#

  • The server adds up the coin balance of every token account your wallet owns for that coin, read from Solana.
  • It divides that by the total supply, which is always 1 billion coins (burned coins still count in the total), and shows it as a percent, cut off after 5 decimals (0.00001%).
  • Coins in another wallet, in a pool position or on an exchange do not count.
Formula
bag % = (your raw balance × 100) ÷ (1,000,000,000 × 10^6)

  100,000 coins = 0.01%
  1,000,000 coins = 0.1%
  10,000,000 coins = 1%

Default tiers#

You hold at leastCoinsTierRequests per day
0.01% of supply100,000Mini10
0.1% of supply1,000,000Standard50
1% of supply10,000,000Premium300
  • The highest tier you reach applies.
  • Below the lowest tier you get “Hold at least 0.01% of $SYMBOL’s supply to use its AI”, unless public access is on, in which case you get the lowest tier.
  • A creator can set 1 to 6 tiers, each with a minimum % (0 to 100), a model tier and 0 to 10,000 requests per day.

Models per tier#

Models come from the AI provider's live catalog (refreshed every 10 minutes). Each model is put in a quality tier by its blended price, (3 × input price + output price) ÷ 4 per million tokens:

Model tierBlended price per 1M tokens
Mini$1 or less
Standardmore than $1, up to $6.50
Premiummore than $6.50
  • A tier may use its own models and every lower tier's models. By default that is every catalog model of those tiers; a creator can pick up to 50 models per tier instead.
  • The model used when you do not pick one: the creator's default for your tier, else the coin's own paired model if your tier allows it, else the cheapest allowed model of your tier (models that can use tools first).

Daily quotas#

  • Your quota counts your own requests on that coin since 00:00 UTC that were paid (or may have been), plus the ones still running. A request that failed before anything was paid does not count; one that was paid counts even if it failed or you stopped it.
  • In the chat, only your own message counts. When the AI runs a tool and calls the model again, that follow-up is paid from the coin's budget but does not use your quota.
  • Replies to you in the coin's linked Telegram group count toward the same quota.
  • On top of your quota, the coin has a daily budget for everyone together (default $20). When it is used up the AI stops for everyone until 00:00 UTC.

One chat turn#

  • A turn can use up to 4 model calls (the AI calls a tool, reads the result, answers). Each call is its own paid request with its own receipt.
  • The whole turn stays within the per-request cap (default $0.25). Each call can write up to 1,024 tokens.
  • Up to 4 tool calls per step; a tool that takes longer than 20 seconds is stopped.
  • A conversation sends at most 24 messages of 4,000 characters, 24,000 characters in total. 30 messages per minute per IP.
  • Links in answers are kept only for this site and a short list of explorers and trading sites (Solscan, Solana Explorer, Solana FM, pump.fun, Jupiter, DexScreener, Birdeye). Every answer shows its cost and a link to its receipt.

The rules a creator can change#

The creator opens the AI settings panel on the coin page (tabs Access, Models, Budget, Roles, API key). Saving asks the creator wallet to sign a message (free, one use). The new rules are checked first, so a refused change does not use up the signature, and they apply within about 10 seconds.

Every creator action is signed the same way: a Sign-In-With-Solana message whose domain your wallet checks, naming the action and the coin, and carrying a SHA-256 hash of the request's contents (canonical JSON with sorted keys, for example the rules you are saving). The server recomputes the hash from what it receives, so a signature can't be reused for another action, another coin or different contents.
